Trying Normal

In the Netherworld, Hild yawned and rolled to her side, hugging the pillow in her arms tighter. After a few seconds, her eyes snapped open. The "pillow" in her arms turned out to be Krichevskoy, but that wasn't what alarmed her.

It was that she was sleeping at all. And that she still felt drained.

Keeping still, she took stock of her body and realized with growing dread that everything was wrong. She felt tired, she felt hungry, there was an odd pressure below her stomach that she'd never felt before. She could feel her heart beat, the oxygen in her lungs, the fragility of her skin. She could feel her cells dying. And though she had no way of knowing at the moment, even the red markings usually on her face were gone.

Paralyzed by shock, she continued to cling to Vyers, still trying to make sense of what was happening.

"I suppose we'll find out once we go outside," she said softly, pressing into his arm as she looked around with him. Hild then nodded and began going down the hall, trying to look more confident than she felt.

First they needed to confirm where they were. Then, it would only be smart to find a way to protect themselves...a weapon of sorts. Or better yet, magic. Though human now, Hild believed she could still have the knack for spell casting, assuming this was a dimension wherein humans could use magic.
